Angela Mudukuti from the Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC) talks about her organsation’s case against the South African government for its failure to arrest Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir, as well as the Africa Group for Justice and Accountability and its potential role in mending the relationship between African states and the International Criminal Court.
Angela Mudukuti is a Lawyer at the International Criminal Justice Programme of the Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC), which promotes and advances human rights and the rule of law in southern Africa. SALC works in Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
On 18-19 October 2016, the Africa Group for Justice and Accountability and the Wayamo Foundation hosted International Symposium on the theme, “Towards a System of International Justice” in Arusha, Tanzania, where Mudukuti was a panellist.
