In partnership with the Institute for War and Peace Reporting.

The project’s aim is to increase space for responsible reporting and media accountability in the coverage and public debate of ICC developments and national justice processes around the elections in Kenya. Project partners intend to use their leverage to encourage consistent, professional media coverage around key issues, increasing access and debate among key audiences and beneficiaries and monitoring and reviewing the reporting by other local media. The ultimate goal of these collective actions is to diffuse tensions and channel any potential for conflict away from destructive violence.
