Akingbolahan Adeniran is the former rule of law adviser to the Vice-President of Nigeria and the current Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Ogun State. In this interview he addresses issues of international criminal justice, and the challenges, both political and systemic, facing the investigation and prosecution of such crimes in the country. The former investigator at the International Criminal Court also discusses the importance of positive complementarity, how it can be implemented in Nigeria, and the importance of capacity building to any effort at dealing with international crimes.
